UA Florida /
Cultural Fest
Full art direction and brand identity for the Ukrainian Association of Florida — from event web pages and digital campaigns to signage, banners, and print collateral for a live cultural festival.
The Challenge
Culture, pride,
and a deadline.
The Ukrainian Association of Florida needed more than promotional material — they needed a visual identity that carried cultural weight, spoke to both the Ukrainian diaspora community and the wider South Florida public, and was ready to print and publish under event pressure.
This was personal. As a Ukrainian-American designer, I brought both cultural fluency and professional rigour to the brief. Every design decision had to honour the symbolism and history of the culture while working as functional event collateral in the real world.
The Work
Identity to
the street.
- Designed full event identity — visual language, colour system, and typographic voice for the Ukrainian Cultural Fest
- Built event landing pages and registration flows with mobile-first layouts and countdown timers
- Created step-and-repeat backdrop banners featuring Ukrainian cultural embroidery patterns (vyshyvanka motifs) and national symbolism
- Produced digital campaign materials: social posts, event invitations, and Facebook/Instagram ad creative
- Designed print collateral — programmes, informational panels, and wayfinding signage for the live event
- Art-directed the physical event presence — the backdrop and banner installation photographed at the festival site
- Delivered all assets in print-ready and digital formats for the organising team to deploy independently
