South Florida
Ukrainian-born, South Florida-based UX/UI Designer with 8 years across digital agencies, FinTech, and automotive. I understand both U.S. and Eastern European markets — and my journalism background shapes every brief I take.
I start with the human story before I open Figma.
Before pixels and prototypes, there was a press pass. I was a journalist in Kyiv — celebrity profiles, cultural criticism, human interest pieces for Ex-clusive magazine. I learned to ask the right questions, find the thread in a person's story, and make readers feel something.
That curiosity never left. It just found a new medium.
A law degree from Kyiv. A journalism certificate. A swimwear collection. A move to Florida. I've never taken the expected road — and I'm not sorry about it.
In South Florida, words became visuals. I studied graphic design at Palm Beach State College, completed Ironhack's UX/UI Bootcamp in Miami, and started designing for real clients with real stakes.
UX research. Design systems. WordPress development. AI-powered workflows. From FinTech dashboards and 120 automotive websites to pest control companies and jewelry brands — I design for humans, not specs.

I'm Ellen Bryant — UX/UI Designer, Researcher, and former journalist. Ukrainian-born, South Florida-based, fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian.
My journalism background shapes everything: I start with the human story before I open Figma. Eight years across digital agencies, FinTech, software, and automotive have taught me that the best design isn't the most beautiful — it's the one that solves the right problem.
Seeking a team where I can keep growing, contribute to revenue, and add meaningful value to users.
